GAMLS listing photos that stay upload-ready
GAMLS covers Georgia listings with a clear photo posture: a timely primary image, property-focused frames, and no contact info or marketing text on the photo. Agents who dual-list with FMLS feel the friction — two boards, one photo drop, zero time.
MLS Ready helps you get to an upload-ready set: mild correction and banner/watermark strip for GAMLS, FMLS, or both. Not virtual staging. Not a certification.
What “upload-ready” usually means on GAMLS
- A primary photo that shows the property clearly (daylight exterior is the common expectation for residential)
- No agent branding, phone numbers, or promotional messages on the image
- Quality high enough to reproduce on portals
- Edits that do not turn the photo into a different property
Virtual staging, when used, is a separate path with disclosure expectations (including before/after patterns on GAMLS guidance). Do not confuse that with stripping a watermark so the frame can enter the system. Rules change — verify with GAMLS and your broker before you publish.
A dual-board photo pass (GAMLS + FMLS)
- Cull to the best exterior and a tight interior set.
- Remove branding and watermarks from every frame you will upload.
- Correct light/color so the batch looks like one shoot.
- Export once; upload to both boards from the same folder.
- Only then build social graphics from the clean masters.
That order prevents the classic failure: Instagram gets the clean crop, GAMLS still has last week’s branded proof.
Where Grafics fits
Use MLS Ready for the cleanup pass. Use the listing pack pages for the story after the listing is live — just listed, open house, and the rest. Same photos. Different jobs.

FAQ
Does GAMLS allow watermarks on listing photos?
Marketing text, contact info, and similar branding on images is generally not allowed. Strip watermarks and logos before upload; confirm current policy with GAMLS.
Is virtual staging required to be disclosed?
GAMLS guidance has treated virtually staged images as a disclosed, non-deceptive edit with before/after expectations. Cleanup without staging is a different workflow.
Can one set serve FMLS and GAMLS?
Yes if you clean once to the stricter non-branded bar and keep frames honest to the property. Dual-list from the same master folder.
How is MLS Ready different from a photographer retouch?
MLS Ready targets speed for listing agents: mild correction and artifact strip so you can submit. It is not a full creative retouch studio or staging service.
